Exploring Koh Samui

Take a look at everything I got up to whilst I was in Koh Samui. From the places I stayed, to the activities I did, and what I missed out on. I've got you all covered. <3

Koh Samui

Ko Samui, Thailand’s third-largest island, is the crown jewel of an 80-island archipelago that includes the stunning Ang Thong Marine Park—perfect for kayaking and day trips. Though small enough to explore by motorbike in a few hours, Samui offers endless variety, from postcard-perfect beaches like Chaweng, Lamai, and Taling Ngam to rich culture and history.

Adventure seekers can enjoy diving, Muay Thai, golf, and yoga, while those craving relaxation can unwind at luxurious 5-star resorts or the charming Fisherman’s Village in Bo Phut, with its converted Chinese shophouses.

Samui has blossomed into a unique paradise—balancing vibrant energy with natural beauty, ensuring every traveller finds their ideal beach escape.

The most convenient way to get from A to B is to take a taxi. Using apps like Grab and inDrive are a popular choice when in Thailand.

When it came to island hopping I quickly found that 12GO Asia was perfect. The app allows you to book ferries and speedboats to get from one island to another.

Long distance travel was made much easier when I was able to catch a flight. The app I used was Skyscanner and they offered several different airlines with various flight times.
